We started our 'Parenting' course last night up at the Hospital.  We were among 5 other couples in this month's course (4 weeks of 1 evening per week) and Sal was the... how do you say it...  least far along, at 25 weeks, the most being 33.  It kind of felt like we were 'wannabes' to me, how everyone else was much closer to their actual due date ( Read more... )

We spent the weekend moving house.  We've moved into our little farm house, although it's not very little.  It was a very tiring weekend, getting everything out there.  We only had a small pantec truck to move everything, so we needed a few trips to do it all.  A big thank you to casseross and his Dad for helping out.  We would have never got our big couch ( Read more... )

* Sal has her 12 week ultrasound this week.

I play too many online games.  I'm not talking about WoW here, but online browser-based games.  I'm probably no where near the hardened web-browser veteran, but still I am signed up to a lot.  My lists consists of;

Sally's pregnant!

I say again, Sally's pregnant.  And we didn't need IVF.

We had been trying for the best part of 5 years since we've been married to have a child.  Once, we got close, only to miscarry at 12 weeks.  All other attempts have failed miserably.  Over the last 5 or so months, Sally has been using this little gadget called a 'Maybe ( Read more... )

So, Sally and I are starting IVF.  We had an appointment with Westmead Private Hospital's Specialist Centre to set everything up last Tuesday.  We've booked Sal's Nursing Interview and another appointment with the Doctor for 13 March 2007 and it should all move on from there.

Today is Sally and I's sixth wedding anniversary.  Unfortunately, due to being 2 days from Christmas and that we're hosting for my family this year, we haven't organised anything huge.  We are going to go and look at all the Christmas lights around town tonight, so that's at least something.
